My pageant journey was something I never saw coming. It all began when one of my closest dance friends encouraged me to give it a try. At first, I immediately said no—I truly didn’t think it was my thing. But she kept encouraging me, especially highlighting the scholarship opportunities, so I decided to give it a shot.

I’m so glad I did. What started as a hesitant leap turned into one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I quickly realized that pageantry is about so much more than pretty dresses and perfect makeup—it's about the incredible sisterhood, the support, and the shared drive of young women who are all striving to become the best versions of themselves.

I’ve had the privilege of connecting with some of the most talented, hard-working, and goal-oriented young women I’ve ever met. The friendships I’ve made—on and off the crown stage—are ones I will cherish for a lifetime.

My first time competing at the Miss Virginia's Teen competition, I was honored with the Non-Finalist Talent Award and received a $300 scholarship. Now, I'm proud to hold the title of Miss Commonwealth’s Teen 2025, and I’ll be competing for Miss Virginia’s Teen 2025 this June!

This journey has taught me that stepping outside of your comfort zone can lead to something truly extraordinary. And sometimes, the things you never expected end up changing your life the most.

My Community Service Initiative

"Tiny but Mighty"

My Community Service Initiative, Tiny but Mighty,  is about supporting NICU families and spreading awareness about the impact of infant prematurity. Through this initiative, I provide emotional support and care packages to families with babies in the NICU, partner with local hospitals and organizations, and share real NICU stories through my website and social media to bring hope, education, and community to those affected.

This was inspired by my little sister Kehlani. Kehlani was born in 2020 at just 23 weeks, weighing only 1 pound and 7 ounces. She was what’s known as a micro-preemie and spent nearly six months in the NICU. During that time, she bravely fought through sepsis, blood infections, lung disease, blood clots, and many other serious complications.

Because she was born in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, my younger brother and I weren’t allowed to visit her in the hospital. I remember so many nights filled with worry, afraid I might never get the chance to meet her. But thanks to the early interventions of her medical team and the excellent prenatal care my mom received, Kehlani beat the odds. Today, she’s a thriving, spirited, and incredibly strong 4-year-old—and a constant reminder of what it means to be tiny but mighty.

I made a promise to myself to keep fighting for all the little warriors like Kehlani and to ensure that mothers—especially those in underserved communities—know just how vital prenatal care is. I want to help women access the resources they need and understand how crucial early medical attention can be for both mom and baby.

Most of all, I want every parent navigating the NICU journey to know they are not alone. It may be long, it may be hard, but together, we are a community of strength, hope, and resilience. strong!

Kehlani Miracle

It is INCREDIBLE what these little miracle babies and their families go through when your child is born prematurely at any stage.

The stories vary from one unique birth story to another, but what remains the same is that these little babies are Tiny but Mighty!

Their stories deserve to be told! The strength and determinations of mommas and families pulling together to help their little miracle navigate this experience is something that I believe could be an inspiration for many.

My "Why"

What I love most about the Miss Virginia opportunity is how it empowers young women like me to grow into confident, compassionate leaders while making a real impact in our communities. It’s more than a crown, it’s a platform that gives voice to our passions, provides scholarship opportunities, and surrounds us with a sisterhood of like-minded individuals who are striving to be their best selves. Being Miss Virginia’s Teen has helped me realize just how powerful authenticity and purpose can be.
